Classification of alloy steel pipes

Image
Steel pipes have immense use in the industrial setup. These are used in places where there is more corrosion. These are prioritized over carbon steel because of higher durability and lesser capacity of getting corroded. Although stainless steel pipes have a higher resistance power against corrosion, the alloy steel pipes are more preferred due to their low cost and maintenance.  Alloy steel pipes are installed at various places like in the construction industry to manufacture rails, rods, girders, and many other important products. However, the properties of the alloy steel are dependent upon the composition and proportion of the mixing elements.  Why used steel? Steel is like the most favorable product of the construction industry. It is one of the most durable products, and it doesn't get corroded, unlike iron and other metals.  It's physical, and chemical properties make it one of the most preferred substances. By undergoing a rigorous evolutionary process, stee...

Different type of Pressure vessel steel plate

Image
Pressure vessel steel plates consist of carbon and alloy steel grades which are designed mainly for the use in pressure vessels, boilers, heat exchanger and in the vessels, containing gas or liquid in high pressure like gas cylinders for cooking, oxygen cylinders in diving, chemical, and liquid storage tanks, natural gas storage tanks, etc. The length, width, and thickness of pressure vessel steel plates are 3000 mm to 11000 mm, 1500 mm to 3000 mm, and 3 mm to 600 mm. They have a maximum thickness as per their capacity. The  pressure vessel steel plate  main properties  are tensile strength, elongation, yield strength, and hardness.  There are different gases, liquids, and chemicals that can be stored in these vessels at different pressure. Non-toxic liquids like palm oils and kinds of milk and lethal acids like methyl isocyanate are stored. Some gases are stored at high temperature, whereas some are at low. These different chemicals and different temperatures greatl...
